Andrew and Ruth Pennock train their horses at Timworth, near Bury St. Edmunds, adjacent to the point-to-point course at Ampton. They have saddled over 120 winners and this season currently have the following horses in their yard at Dalmer Lodge :-

THE PIER FIELD bg Ask – Timber Toes ( Mandalus)
Will be 7yo on 1st January 2024.
Had his first four outings of his career in 2023, finishing 2nd of 8 in an Ampton Maiden in January and followed this with further 2nd and 3rd placings before pulling up in very soft/heavy conditions at High Easter in April.
Will have seasonal debut at Ampton fixture in January.

SHANES PASSION bg Dabbers Ridge – Red Nose Lady ( Teenoso)
Will be 6yo on 1st Jan 2024
Made Irish point debut in April ’22 when finishing 4th of 10 and had one other outing, in the same month.
Working well but won’t be seen out until February.

Three Irish points outings, with the last in February 2023, but yet to complete.
First appearance likely to be at Ampton in January.

New acquisition for the stable. Has run twice in Irish points, finishing a respectable 3rd, beaten 8 ½ lengths, on soft to heavy gound, in October ’23, at Moira.
May run at Horseheath on December 31st

Will be 12yo on 1st January 2024
Has won 4 points and 2 hunter ‘chases, both at Exeter, since starting her career in Ireland in 2016 . Won her Maiden at Lingstown in November 2017 before joining Somerset-based, trainer Gordon Edwards who was responsible for her additional 3 point successes and the hunter ‘chase wins.
Will run at Horseheath on December 31st
RALEAGH FLORA bg Red Rocks – Sommerflora ( Pivotal )
Will be 9yo on 1st January ‘24
Made racing debut in Ireland in October ’19 and best placing in Ireland was runner-up in a Kilbeggan Maiden Hurdle in October ’20. Subsequently purchased to race in GB points and was a winner and a runner-up in two Kingston Blount races, from three outings during 2021. Had a year off and returned to action in 2023 winning a point at Godstone and followed this with a resounding Fakenham hunter ‘chase success by 49 lengths. Concluded his season with a narrow head defeat in the Restricted Final at Stratford.
No plans at the moment for his seasonal debut.

Ex- irish trained who first ran in November ’21. Won a Maiden point at Loughanmore in October ’23 on his fifth outing.
Only just arrived at the yard and if all things go OK would be pencilled in to start at Ampton, in January.
